The Saint Augustine Lifesaving Association (SALA) is a local chapter of the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA).
OUR
MISSION
The mission of the St. Johns County Chapter of the Southeast Region of the USLA is to assist the county lifeguard service in decreasing the number of water-related injuries and fatalities, increasing the number of successful water rescues, and accomplishing these goals with increased safety for the county personnel.

The SALA and USLA are non-profit organizations whose goals are to reduce the incidence of death and injury in the aquatic environment through public education and high levels of lifeguard training.

BECOME A
LIFEGUARD
STARTING PAY: $15+/HOUR
(Incentive for EMT & Paramedic)

Must be at least 18 years old by the end of training and have a valid driver's license

Must be able to pass physical qualification tryout and attend the training course

full and part-time positions available
